Prayers for Adoration
RECOMMENDATION FOR ADORATION
Please know that any amount of time you can spend with Jesus in His Blessed Sacrament is efficacious.
Divide your time into segments - each devoted to meditation in the spirit - first in adoration, then contrition, thanksgiving, and finally, supplication
Approach Christ with humility and love. Make your heart a vessel into which He can pour His grace. Unite your troubled heart with His Sacred Heart and ask Him for wisdom and graces you ned in difficult situations.
ANIMA CHRISTI
Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Chirst, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds, hide me.
Let me never be separated from you.
From the malignant enemy, defend me.
In the hour of my death, call me,
And bid me come to you,
That with your saints I may praise you
Forever and ever.
Amen
PRAYER FOR THE SPREAD OF EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
eavenly Father, increase our faith in the real presence of Your Son, Jesus Christ, in the Holy Eucharist. We are obliged to adore Him, to give Him thanks, and to make reparation for sins. We need Your peace in our hearts and among nations. We need conversion from our sins and the mercy of Your forgiveness. May we obtain this through prayer and our union with the Eucharistic Lord.
Amen

PRAYERS OF LOVE AND GRATITUDE
"I adore you Jesus, true God and true man, present in the Holy Eucharist, kneeling before you and united in spirit with all the faithful on earth and all the saints in heaven. In gratitude for so great a blessing, I love you with all my heart, for you are worthy of all praise and adoration.
Amen

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
My Jesus, I believe that You are truly present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there, and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen
